Beaches

The region owns one of the most beautiful patrimonies of the Italian coast. Along both coasts of the region, Adriatic and Ionian, there are beautiful golden beaches and nature reserves. Those closer to the Trullo include

Torre Santa Sabina

Torre Santa Sabina is a beautiful village dating back to the XV century. Torre Aragonese overlooks this beautiful beach and has many shops, restaurants and bars.

Torre Guaceto

Torre Guaceto is a nature reserve and is a protected area of the World Wildlife Foundation. Cycling, snorkelling and pony trekking are available in this area.

The word “Torre” comes from the presence of a tower that is part of a series of towers which are present along this coast line.

Specchiolla

So called because it is a beautiful place where the sky is reflected by the sea.
